Comparison of Connection Conditions of Photovoltaic Systems in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic
Vašica, Radoslav ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The objective of this work is an analysis and a comparison of legislative conditions of the connection of the photovoltaic power station on the territory of Czech Republic (CR) and Slovak Republic (SR). Presented are the working procedures for connecting of the power station to Distribution Grid (DG) and requirements of individual documents needed for a successful connection. Listed are also circumstances, which are taken into account during the consideration of the influence for connection, for the safe operation of DG. In the work are discussed the ways of support of constructing buildings of the photovoltaic power plant and the principle of repurchasing energy from renewable sources. The other part of work deals about hybrid photovoltaic power stations (HPPS), thus allowing to the power station to save energy into accumulators. There are the composition and principle of operation of the hybrid power stations. The following part deals with options of connectivity with hybrid power station to the DG. There are explained the advantages and disadvantages of connected and unconnected hybrid power plants to the DG.
Optimization of the 110 kV distribution system in the Přeštice nodal region
Nagy, Pavel ; Křesálek, Petr (referee) ; Topolánek, David (advisor)
This work describes an actual condition of a specific part of a distribution power grid. It is a research of problems based on the computer model in case some power line is in failure or shut down. Simulations are calculated for both currently used load and load expected in future usage. There are partial solutions depicted for each issue found during the simulation. Some of those are used for a final design of a distribution power grid. In the last section, there is a comparison of different types of power lines and their possible usage in the design.
The Operation of Distribution Grid with High Penetration of Renewable Sources
Modlitba, Petr ; Kozák, Miroslav (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the connection of distributed generation into the distribution grid. The first part describes the methodology for calculating the steady state of alternating current network. The second part deals with the conditions of connecting distributed generation into the grid. The third part describes the types of power sources and distribution system 110 kV in the area supplied from the transformation 220/110 kV Sokolnice. On the basis of the simulation model there were performed calculations of 110 kV network steady-state operation in the nodal area Sokolnice to verify the electrical network conditions during operation of distributed generation. There were also evaluated possibilities for an increase in installed capacity of distributed sources.
Connecting of the Photovoltaic Power Sources to the Distibution Network
Ondroušek, Luděk ; Ing.Pavel Veselka (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This work is focused on the current issues, which are associated with the connection of fotovoltaic sources to the distribution grids. An example of these problems can be the connection of the bigger fotovoltaic power plant to the part of the grid with small short-circuit power. In consequence of this, it can happen that the quality parameters (voltage) of this grid are undesiderably influenced. Integral part of the connection procedure of the new sources to the grid is also a design and method of the power output, which is also part of this work.
Possibilities of Accumulation in Distribution Network
Žižlavský, Jakub ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis on the Possibilities of Accumulation in Distribution Network focuses on the distribution of electric energy storage types. Then the most suitable candidate for the application of the accumulation of electricity in the distribution network will be selected and further work will be conceived according to the choice.

Models of distribution systems integrating distributed resources in PSCAD and simulation of chosen operational regimes
Bezecný, Ján ; Kopička, Marek ; Drápela, Jiří
The content of this Master´s Thesis is creating of dynamic models of distributed energy sources in PSCAD and their validation in chosen operation regimes. In the introduction of this thesis is summarized theoretical knowledge about methods for power systems analysis and there is a comparison of static and dynamic methods for power systems analysis. Static methods are used to calculate electric variables in grid nodes. In compare with them, dynamic methods are used to study instantaneous electrical and mechanical variables not only in grid nodes, but also at components of power system. Secondly, we individually designed distributed energy sources in according to requirements, we made a topology of distribution grid and we integrated these energy sources to the distribution grid. Finally, we chose some operation regimes, and studied a behavior of energy sources during these operation regimes.
